'Assassin's Creed: Empire' Will Possibly Release On October; Map Size,Character Information & Other Details Leaked

The highly anticipated "Assassin's Creed: Empire" allegedly will be released in October 2017. There have been a series of press leaks circulating online about the game prior to its big launch including map size, and characters, among others.

"Assassin's Creed: Empire" has been currently subject to a series of leaks. The first leak came from Reddit where an image posted was now taken down. The alleged leaked image showed the type of weapons, clothing style and the stance as well as the sandy environment. At first glance, you can really say that the alleged leak was legit. In addition, the hooded figure shown in the picture has a similar design to that of Adewale, where the hood is folded down and his arm blades are concealed.

A Swiss gaming retailer WOG posted the second leak. The leak does not only showed screenshots but interestingly provided a release window for the highly anticipated "Assassin's Creed: Empire." It indicated that the game would be available in the fourth quarter of 2017 for Xbox One users. It did not, however, indicate about PlayStation 4.

On NeoGaf, another post claiming to be a leak for the upcoming game spilled out more details. According to the claim, the next "Assassin's Creed" game is a prequel to the previous installment. The game will be set in Ancient Egypt and the player will take the role of a former Slave. In addition, the said leak claims that the main character will be somehow related to Altair as his distant relative.

Moreover, the post in Neogaf claims that the game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal. It also described the protagonist as having a slightly darker complexion as compared to the previous character that fans have grown to love. It further gave detail that the "Assassin's Creed: Empire's" map is three times larger than that of the "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag." Furthermore, the game is said to feature Mirages in the desert.
