So far as the story goes, "Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation" have been focusing on the characters of Hakogaku and Sohoku High School. It seems that the dark horse of the previous Inter High, Kyoto Fushimi is being left behind. The fans only got a glimpse of their ace Midousuji when Naruko raced him back in Osaka as part of his dare if he will continue being a sprinter.
It is given that Sohoku will have the most of the screen time as they are the protagonist's team. Hakogaku is given a mini arc where they conducted a farewell race to their seniors. An exhilarating race happened between the outgoing members and the ones taking their place. New characters are also introduced that filled the line-up for the upcoming Inter High.
On the other hand, Kyoto Fushimi remained away from the limelight and the fans are left wondering what happened to the team after their loss in the Inter High. The third year of the team have already left and other members will be joining to make up for it. Aside from Misousuji, Mizuta Nobuyuki and Yamaguchi Noriyuki are the ones left for the team.
According to Anime News Network, the official website of "Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation" announced that a new character will now join the fray. The character will be voiced by Jun Fukumiya and he is given a video preview by Toho Animation.
Fukumiya's voice will give life to Komari Kishigami, a first-year student that will join the Kyoto Fushimi High Bicycle Club. He is portrayed as a boy with jaw-length blue hair that is held back by a thick pink hairband. Kishigami has narrow eyes that become wider and wild when he gets excited. He will be an all-rounder rider which is obsessed with muscles as reported by Crunchyroll.
With that being said, fans will get to see him in the future episodes of "Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation." Meanwhile, let's wait and see the latest episode of the hit cycling anime.
