This year is the dawn for the "Stranger Things" Season 2. It has been announced that the show will be delivering a darker and weirder taste for the viewers. The soundtrack composer hinted some information during an interview about the upcoming series, but not too much to spoil the fans.
As per FACT Magazine, they have reported that the second season of the show's score will be penned by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of S U R V I V E. A statement of Dixon indicates that he thinks that they are going to focus a little bit more in the Upside Down for the upcoming season. In addition, Stein mentioned that he had bought new equipment as an inspiration. Moreover, the vintage equipment and techniques will be used for their music.
The titles for the episodes of "Stranger Things" Season 2 is as follows, Ep.1 "Madmax," Ep.2 "The Boy Who Came Back to Life," Ep.3 "The Pumpkin Patch," Ep.4 "The Palace," Ep.5 "The Storm," Ep.6 "The Pollywog," Ep.7 "The Secret Cabin," Ep.8 "The Brain," and Ep.9 "The Lost Brother."
Right now, the writer of the episodes is still to be announced but the directors are The Duffer Brothers, Shawn Levy, Andrew Stanton and Rebecca Thomas. The upcoming season is one episode more than the previous one since the last season has a total of 8.
According to The Vinyl Factory, Dixon and Stein are completely putting such efforts in their passion for music. Themes from "Twin Peaks" or "X-Files" are just one of the few best hits and most of John Carpenter's legendary film themes. The duo is totally blending into the show's which makes the viewers even more entertained.
The upcoming return of the show's casts are Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, and Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair. Also returning are Natalie Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, and Noah Schnapp as Will Byers.
