'The Seven Deadly Sins' Season 3 Will Feature The Demon Saga, Fans Felt Deceived With Netflix's Season 2 OVA Streaming

Fans were pleased when the anime series "The Seven Deadly Sins" season 2 was renewed. But it appears that it did not appeal to fans at all. Meanwhile, reports about "The Seven Deadly Sins" season 3 excite fans.

"The Seven Deadly Sins" season 3 speculations reveal that it will focus on the Demon Saga. The new season will reportedly unveil the True Nature of the Ten Commandments and the reason behind Melioda's deception to the Demon Clan.

The season will also introduce the seventh Sin Lord Escanor and the Sin of Pride of the Lion. With the revelation of Princess Elizabeth's Goddess powers, a transformation will be seen.

Meanwhile, after the anime's renewal for the second season was revealed, many were anticipating to watch it especially after the trailer was out. But when the viewers went to Netflix to see it, it wasn't a new series but it is just the old OVA (Original Video Animation) Signs of Holy War of the anime. This was already aired in Japan back on Aug. 28, 2016 until Sept. 18, 2016 on JNN (MBS, TBS), Blasting News reported.

Fans were not just disappointed because of the OVA version of the anime on Netflix. Added to their dismay is the number of episodes available on Netflix. It was originally reported that there will be 24 episodes from Feb.17 but only four episodes were shown.

To recall, Comic Book reported that a trailer for "The Seven Deadly Sins" season 2 was released by Netflix. The outlet added that characters like Princess Elizabeth and Meliodas were featured in the said trailer. Princess Elizabeth will recall some scenes from season 1 while Meliodas will be fighting with some villains.

"The Seven Deadly Sins" is about a historical tale of a group of knights in Britannia. It debuted in as a manga in Weekly Shonen Magazine in October 2012. In October 2014, A-1 Pictures made an anime adaptation of the manga. The manga sold millions of copies which also made the anime famous up to this date.
