'Civilization VI': Double Civ Pack Will Bring Two New Civilizations Soon; Release Date, Features & More

"Civilization VI" Double Civ Pack will be launched soon. This upcoming content will add two new civilizations to the game, will bring more in-game features and more.

"Civilization VI" Double Civ Pack

Feraxis has recently confirmed during their "Civilization VI" Twitch Livestream that "Civilization VI" Double Civ Pack will be available in the summer of 2017. This upcoming DLC will bring two new playable civilizations in the game. The latest addition to the game, Australia, has just been released and the next playable Civilization announcement can be anticipated any day from now.

In Civilization subreddit, Kacu5610's thread is a gold mine of fans speculations. One theory said that the "Civilization VI" Double Civ Pack release would be two Civilizations with thematic or regional similarity. Fans note that it could be the Inca-Maya, Ottomans-Persia, and Sweden-Denmark sets. To be specific, some of the game's notable leaders and Civilizations often start in the same country. They, however, have diverse legacies left behind. There is a big possibility that we might see two distinct Civilizations in one release if this is the case.

Multiple Leader Release

Firaxis has yet to achieve the multiple leader releases from the "Civilization VI" DLCs. The team has recently stated that several of the playable Civilizations will have multiple leaders. As of the latest update, however, only Greece is the only Civilization that has multiple leaders. These Civilizations can be in the same game if they happened to be picked by two different players. "Civilization VI's" Greece has two leaders, Pericles and Gorgo, and both can exist as separate and distinct Civilizations in a match in spite of sharing most of their city names. The only difference between these two leaders' of Greece is their Leader Ability. Fans are hoping that the next "Civilization VI Double Civ" pack can just be one Civilization with two different leaders.
