The favorite "League of Legends" Festival Queen Anivia has a new skin. The fresh skin is a bright, colorful and is already available for 975 RP.
Jesica "Artsed" Paulin, a community creator in Argentina was the brain behind this "League of Legends" Festival Queen Anivia's new skin design. Riot Games is touting this as the latest "League of Legends" skin that is culturally inspired. The Mardi Gras in the U.S., the Murgas in Argentina, and the Russian Maslenitsa to name a few are the very inspiration of this new skin.
"League of Legends" Festival Queen Anivia's new skin according to Artsed at first has a dull and dark color schemes. However, she realized that it would look better if Anivia has a shiny skin with some bright purple and pinks. She was later inspired by the make-up and costumes dancers wear in the parades. The first sketch was simple, which is composed of colorful feathers and a mask covering Anivia's face. It soon evolved into a mask-like design for her wings, with more details based on the floats and dancers' frame headdresses, reported WWG.
Riot looked at a few things to stay relevant to Carnaval as well as Anivia's old-fashioned roots. NA's Product Manager Carlos "IamCarlos" Giffoni said that it took a while how to figure out Anivia's skin. He added that it took them several tries to get the right sequence of actions from all the pieces. He further said that they are all happy at what turned out to be "League of Legends" Festival Queen Anivia's new skin.
Meanwhile, Brazillian Video Producer Leo "RudaTargayen" Rudá was also quoted saying that having a skin that is able to reach out to different cultures around the world is something Riot strives to do. The latest "League of Legends" Festival Queen Anivia's new skin also comes with Festival Queen Icon for 1500 IP.
