Episode 14 of "The Flash" Season 3 will be featuring a gorilla army, led by Gorilla Grodd, invading Central City, as he wants to serve punishment for delaying his plans. Barry Allen and his team do their best try to and stop them.
According to a report from ComingSoon, the synopsis for episode 14, which is entitled "Attack on Central City," will have Grodd come after the Flash Team, while Barry Allen, Wally West and Jesse Quick, is trying to prevent them from destroying the city. But the team will have some help as Gypsy makes a return to join the fight.
The promotional trailer that came along with the synopsis shows that it won't be an easy fight as Allen can be heard saying that Grodd "comes back stronger," every time he thinks they have defeated him. There was also a scene where West was asking for pointers before they face the gorilla army, to which an unsure Allen said they should try going for "the legs."
Ashley Victoria Robinson of Screen Rant said that episode 14 of "The Flash" Season 3 will see story arc shifting back to Earth-1 after Team Flash traveled to Earth-2 to save Harry Welles. In Earth-2 they were tricked by Grodd to betray a community of "highly intelligent apes."
They betrayed the Gorilla villain, though, in order to go back to Earth-1. And now they are facing Grodd's wrath for foiling his plans.
Robinson adds that the preview showed that the episode "appears well-executed" and it provides a "grounded reality" to Grodd's character. She is hopeful, though, that episode 14 won't just be a retelling of episode 13 "Attack on Gorilla City."
The synopsis also revealed that Quick wants to be with West, which could mean fans will get to see more of her on Earth-1. Check out the preview for "The Flash" Season 3, Episode 14 in the video below.
