The latest episode of "One Piece" brought us a walk into memory lane showing some important moments of the Alabasta Arc and the Straw Hats' adventure with Nefeltari Vivi. The episode titled 'To the Reverie - Princess Vivi and Princess Shirahoshi' is mostly reanimated segments of the series from previous episodes which are common when transitioning story arcs. Though for some it is just a boring flashback, some important contents are inserted in the episode.
The episode started off with Vivi together with her father, Cobra and their crew saying farewell to their subjects and heading of to the capital, Mariejois. They are attending the regular meeting of different world leaders called Reverie which happens every four years as reported by Anime News Network. The Alabastan ship was then escorted by a Marine vessel under the command of Rear Admiral Hina.
Reverie which is literally translated as World Council has been a recurring subject in the One Piece universe indicating its importance to the series. In this exclusive meeting, things that can affect the world globally are discussed and important issues are addressed. Things discussed here can instantly spark a global war and with this upcoming meeting, three nations will attend as an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates: Alabasta, Dress Rosa and Fishman Island.
Going back to the episode, Fandom Post stated that in the latest episode of "One Piece" Vivi recollects her memories as she went up the crow's nest of their ship. The battle with Crocodile became the first part of her nostalgic recollection. The second part reanimates her bond with Luffy and the gang as they lead her to the path of a good leader for her people.
The last minutes of the episode showed the Straw Hats on Thousand Sunny traveling to Whole Cake Island to save Sanji. The Sanji Retrieval Team was still recovering from the trauma brought by the huge jump off Zou that Luffy dragged them. Luffy is asking whats wrong with everybody and why everyone was not doing their job properly; when suddenly Carrot showed up offering her help, shocking everyone aboard.
