‘Gintama’ Episode 322 Recap: Gintoki's Battle With Bato Is Short And Comedic

"Gintama" shows Sakara Gintoki going head-to-head with Pluto Bato's enlightened eye in a short but comedic battle as the Battle on Rakuyo continues. Fans enjoyed this episode of Gintama, especially since it featured the reunion of the Four Heavenly Kings.

According to a report from Anime News Network, Gintoki's battle with Bato is the shortest among the Three Mad Stars battle but is also the most comedic. The self-proclaimed Star Sword King was telling Ginoki about battling with him during the Joi War but only to learn that it was actually a young man named Pakuyasa who was aiming to be Gintoki's disciple.

The report adds that Bato was surprised to realize this and that the murderous intent he was seeing during that battle at the Joi War was actually from Gintoki, who was also battling nearby. Gintoki was also telling Bato that his eye, which can see everything, actually works too well. The eye lets Bato see everything except what's really in front of him.

The report said Gintoki used the advantage to defeat Bato. But what everyone had buzzing was that near the end of the episode, Takasugi Shinsuke finally awakes and joins the battle, reuniting him with Gintoki, Katsura Kotarou, and Sakamoto Tatsuma the Four Heavenly Kings.
