"The Fosters" season 4 episode 11 saw Jesus (Noa Centineo) being knocked out and was hospitalized. He fought for his life because of a trauma in his brain. In episode 12, he is still in the hospital trying to gain consciousness. The Adams Foster family will be gathered in the hospital. His struggle will affect Mariana deeply and she will eventually admit to using ADD medicine.
The whole family will be distressed of Jesus' condition according to Heavy. His condition will deteriorate even more. The episode title is "Dream A Little Dream." While in the hospital, Jesus will have a nightmare where he sees that he was unable to save his twin sister.
He has been through a lot during his stay in the ICU as his brain has swollen. Buddy TV reported that the doctors have to put him into a medically-induced coma to insert a bolt into his head for monitoring.
Mariana will turn to Mat for comfort. He is the boyfriend that she betrayed in favor of Nick (Louis Hunter). However, later on Mariana finds out that Mat is better that Nick. They were about to get back together when Nick showed his ugly behavior.
Mat will feel deeply sorry for Mariana as she feels responsible for the agonies of her family. It can be recalled during the previous episode that Nick and Jesus got into a fight that ended up Jesus being unconscious.
The Fosters face a challenge of dealing with Jesus' mood swings caused by his brain injury. His mother Lena (Sherri Saum) will take care of him now that he is physically unable to do things alone.
Lena will find it really tiring and her time with him is really challenging. Stef (Teri Polo) will be greatly affected and blames Mariana for the problems they are facing.
