Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his team, including new member Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy), who is the new Black Canary of the show, will be traveling to Russia in "Arrow" Season 5 Episode 12. Meanwhile, Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) will make a return to the mayor's office following rehab.
According to a report from Mic, joining Oliver and Dinah in Russia will be Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and John Diggle (David Ramsey), who is recently freed. Episode 12 will be entitled "Bratva," which is another name for the powerful Russian Mafia organization Solntsevskaya Bratva.
The report also mentions the synopsis of the episode states that the trip to Russia is because of a mission. The extended promo for the episode shows, though, that the trip to Russia won't go smoothly.
The trailer shows Anatoly and Oliver exchanging pleasantries in one scene and a drink in another. But the video also ended with the same friend punching Oliver, saying "you never should have come back to Russia," which shows he and his team are not welcome.
Another scene shows Dinah and John talking about stopping a nuclear arms deal. This has somehow put the team in the middle of the crossfire between, what looks like the military, and presumably the bad guys.
Though the trailer for Episode 12 of "Arrow" Season 5 only showed scenes of the trip to Russia, there's also some things happening back in Star City. The synopsis mentioned that Lance returns to the mayor's office and is ready to get back to work.
But things may get a little chaotic when Susan Williams (Carly Pope) asked Lance for an interview to talk about his alcohol addiction, which the latter doesn't seem to want to talk about. It will be up to Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzales) to maintain order while the team is gone. Check out the extended promo trailer in the video below.
