One day after announcing that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting twins, reports have surfaced it that she is not taking a break from work and will, in fact, be performing at the 2017 Grammy Awards. This makes sense as the singer-songwriter has the most nominations this year for her album "Lemonade."
Billboard reports that Queen B is still the most-nominated female artist in the history of the Grammy awards, as her nominations in the 59th Grammy Awards brings her total nominations to a whopping 62 so far, with Dolly Parton coming in next at 47. Her rapper mogul husband also holds a record for third most nominated male artist in Grammy history.
She broke another record this year by being nominated in four different genres: pop, rock, urban contemporary and rap. Her biggest competitor for the evening will be Adele, whose album "25" broke Beyonce's record sales after its release.
This week is turning out to be a big one for the superstar family. Beyonce's pregnancy announcement on Instagram has now surpassed Selena Gomez's Coco Cola photo as the most liked entry on the social media website, garnering more than 8 million likes, as reported by E! News. The picture shows Queen B in a garden like setting, holding a very obvious baby bump, along with a sweet caption announcing that they have been "blessed two times over."
The 35-year-old was seen rehearsing for her performance on the awards show, which will be airing on February 12. This is not the first time that Beyonce will be seen performing live while pregnant. Fans will remember her singing live at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. After her singing her power song "Love on Top", Beyonce went on to lovingly rub her bump, thereby announcing her first pregnancy to the world as husband Jay-Z looked lovingly from the audience.
