Gareth Edwards Film ‘Godzilla’ Sequel Casts Millie Bobby Brown As Lead Actor

Millie Bobby Brown's "Godzilla: King Of Monsters" is her biggest role to date. After casting her as Eleven in "Stranger Things" everything changed for the 12-year-old actress. Her breakthrough role in the Netflix show has proven her talent as an intense actress.

She was nominated for the Golden Globes Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series. She was also nominated as Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress in the People's Choice Awards.

Now she is cast in a monster movie, "Godzilla: King of Monsters." According to Teen Vogue, she just landed a major fashion campaign and opportunities continue to come her way.

The first Millie Bobby Brown film will be directed by Michael Dougherty who replaced Gareth Edwards, director of "Godzilla." The movie is set for release in March 2019. Brown was given the lead role in the movie. At 12, she is capable of securing huge projects already.

"Stranger Things" will have a sequel and it is expected to surpass the success of the original series. Brown will be busy in the next two years when the "Godzilla "sequel starts to film according to Screen Rant. But "Stranger Things 2" will be ahead in production. "Godzilla: King of Monsters" will be linked to "Kong: Skull Island" with Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, and Tom Hiddleston.

Brown started acting in 2013 when she was cast as the young Alice in "Once Upon A Time in Wonderland." The following year, she was given a role as Madison O'Donnell in "Intruders." Guest roles were given to her in "NCIS," "Modern Family," and "Grey's Anatomy." Then in 2016 her big break came portraying the role of Eleven in the Netflix show.

Millie Bobby Brown's new movie is expected to give her nominations and awards. She is a personality to watch out this year as more filmmakers will notice her acting prowess.
