Fans of the hit anime series "Yuri on Ice" are in for a treat as MS Factory has teased a new hug pillow they are working on that will feature Yuri Katsuki. The company, though, is asking for patience from everyone, as they are still working out some things before they can start producing the pillow.
According to Jennifer Sherman of Anime News Network, the image of the hug pillow that MS Factory teased showed what appears to be Yuri lying in bed. The image shows that Yuri looks to be listening to some music from his cell phone while he appears to be removing his glasses.
Only the lower half of the face of the character is shown in the image, so it's not really clear who the character in the image is. It would also take a while for fans to a glimpse of the actual product as MS Factory is not yet ready to come out with it.
Crunchyroll reports that the company has not yet made the actual "Yuri on Ice" hug pillow as they are still working with the anime creators. MS Factory is still trying to get approval and such for the said pillow.
The report adds that the company has been known to create "attention-grabbing hug pillows." Their recent creations include hug pillows from "Panty and Stocking," "Leiji Matsumoto," and "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU."
Sherman adds that the company, though, did say they will provide more information about the development. The anime series has been a big hit, not only as an anime show and a merchandise but as a tourist attraction as well.
Mitsuorou Kubo recently visited Karatsu in the Saga Prefecture, which is seemingly Yuri's neighbourhood. It has now become an exciting tourist destination because of "Yuri on Ice." Check out the last scene of the last episode of the anime series in the video below.
