The caped crusader will be back in the upcoming superhero film, "Justice League" scarier than ever. A tweet from the Batman-News.com showed us a 3D rendering of Batman's iconic cowl in the upcoming film. The unpainted version of the cowl showed a scary and angry looking face that will surely put any criminal shivering of fear.
The foundation of the DC comics was based on the holy trinity of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. While Superman has been the most iconic among all superheroes, Batman has the largest fan base and the most adored. Because of this, film makers have been attending even the littlest details for every appearance of the Dark Knight.
According to Cinema Blend, the new cowl of Batman leaves the Dark Knight a permanent pissed off face. The 3D render of the cowl shows the intricate detail of the Batman's iconic grimace built in into the cowl itself. The cowl was specifically moulded and fitted to the face and head of Ben Affleck and is now made with polyurethane instead of foam latex.
Michael Wilkinson, the costume designer of the new cowl claimed that the new one is close to the previous one but a tad better. With new technologies available and new materials to work on, the designers were able to surpass what is an already amazing cowl.
The movie director, Zack Snyder also suggested that the new gauntlet for Batman should have a more sense of armor and deflection incorporated. This lead the idea of the design of the gauntlet being based on the Samurai armors as reported by Comic Book. The idea also considered Bruce Wayne's background of Asian Martial Arts in Japan which perfectly fits the basis for the design.
The samurai infused gauntlet was modernized by the designers as the way Wayne Tech would have made it. They changed the straight shank of the blade which resulted into a new and more aggressive look.
Batman will have he's big screen appearance in the upcoming film "Justice League" that will follow the events of "Dawn of Justice". Batman and Wonder Woman will attempt to create the group of Earth's mightiest protectors against the impending dangers in the planet. The film is slated to release on November 17, 2017.
