In Singapore, you're not going to Platform 9 ¾ to the wizarding world of Harry Potter, but rather, you take the route to Platform 1094. It's the newest Harry Potter themed restaurant where local muggles get to taste dishes featured in the books and movies.
According to their Platform Weekly, the people behind Fresh Fruit Labs (they call themselves elves) have created a bistro "fit for all magic users." The branch sister of FFL is located on 1094 Serangoon Road and offers classic dishes of the original restaurant with just adding some flair.
The interiors were designed in cabin-like rustic interiors with bricks for their wall, chandelier lightings, and chairs with stag prints. There are also props around the restaurant such as wands and witches' hats.
Serving up on their menu are their Crab Claw & Roe Tortilla Wrap, Giant's Breakfast, Grilled Chicken Tortilla and Plaited Brioche with Smoked Salmon among many others. Grab the Goblet of Fire cocktail before contestants from Durmstrang or Beauxbatons have their hands at it!
Their Bacardi rum infused with blue curacao liqueur will light up as the goblet when sparked with flames. Other drinks and dishes to try are their Liquid Luck Pineapple, truffle Wizard's Cup, non-alcoholic Elixir of Life, and Bloodberry dessert.
Hurry and reserve a spot at Platform 1094. We've heard it's quite a charmer to the locals. Posted on their Facebook page is a couple of notices that the bistro is full.
"We are truly grateful for the overwhelming support and would like to inform all that our dinner reservations are full tonight. As such, we would suggest all walk-in customers drop by another day to avoid disappointment. We apologize for any inconvenience caused," they wrote.
According to their management, "Non-magic bearers are also rumored to be unable to see this magically protected area, making it safe for all wizards and witches to convene," as stipulated by the 'magic ministry.'
So, do you know magic? Because if you do, feel free to enter the place of Harry Potter.
