Yuki Kajiura LIVE featuring Sword Art Online Concert Cancelled Due To Visa Issues

"Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale" is about to hit the theaters soon and to celebrate the continuous success of the franchise. Yuki Kajiura, composer of the music for every instalment of the "Sword Art Online" anime franchise, planned to have her mega-hit live show entitled Yuki Kajiura LIVE in North America debut in Hollywood at the world famous Dolby Theater. However, the upcoming concert was announced to be cancelled due to visa issues.

According to Anime News Network, the official Facebook of the Sword Art Online USA announced on Friday, January 6, that the concert will be cancelled due to visa issues. Aniplex of America and Space Craft had planned to hold the concert this coming January 14, 2017 in Hollywood's Dolby Theater.

Fans who purchased tickets online or through the phone will get a full refund automatically within ten days. The other ones who purchased their tickets through Ticketmaster will have refunds plus the exclusive item like the event pamphlet and the "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale" - pouch. Staffs of Ticketmaster will announce the details for the distribution of the items on their official website on a later date.

According to Cruchyroll, Kajiura will have an all-star group of ten other musician to join her and perform in the said concert which includes Koichi Korenaga . Singers Remi, Kaori, Wakana, and Yuriko Kaida will perform the most favourite songs from the hit anime franchise. Kajiura together with the other artists was looking forward to perform on the event and they apologized for the trouble caused by the travel problem.

The original version of the concert was held in Tokyo last March 31 and the concert in California is supposed to be the concert's North American debut. Kajiura became famous because of her unique style of music which fusses the essence of both the European and the East Asian sounds which was now known as the 'Kajiura Sound'.

Aside from composing music for all the "Sword Art Online" series she was also behind to some of the most popular anime's music such as Fate/Zero, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, .hack, Noir, The Garden of Sinners, ERASED, and Pandora Hearts series and many more. She also founded and acts as the music producer for the famous singing trio Kalifana.
