'Your Lie In April': Nerima-ku-Real Life Location Of The Famous Anime Movie

"Your Lie in April" has become a worldwide phenomenon that even people in the west have grown to love it. Along with its fame, fans delve deeper to discover the place where the anime was set to take place.

The anime movie "Your Lie In April" take place in Nerima-ku. The place has one of the most peaceful neighborhoods with adorned with beautiful parks. The Nerima Bunka Center, which was used at the end of the first episode of Your Lie in April we see a building called Towa Hall located just north of Nerima Station. Luneko Daira was the place where Maiho Contest happened. Hamburger Restaurant or the Butcher's Table is where Tsubaki, the main character's childhood friend, went on a date with an older classmate after school. Crowd visits the place for their delicious burgers.

Many streets in Nerima-ku were also used in the anime. One of them is the scene where the Kaori and the main character Kousei meet by surprise and talk. Even the branches were perfectly in the background is similar to the real life scene.

In the third episode of "Your Lie In April," Kaori and Kousei go to this cafe named La Primeur. This cafe is where the teachers went and dine and were talking at about Kousei's performance in the 13th episode. Café La Primeur is a famous bakery cafe around the neighborhood. The interior of the restaurant is lovely, however in the anime; they added a piano which is not existing in the real-life setting. The café is famous for its waffles and desserts.

The intersection that was used in the last episode of "Your Lie In April," and is often seen as the railroad crossing in Japanese animations is known as Seibu Ikebukuro in real life. The place is the exact replica of what is shown in the anime up to the finest details.
