Twitter's top executives' resignation have been in the string as Adam Bain, Kevin Weal, Josh McFarland, and lately, Adam Messinger left the company. Last October 2016, the company revealed that they need to lower down their expenses and other costs by cutting off 9% employees and shutting down app Vine.
According to CNET, Product Head Kevin Well left Twitter for Instagram in March 2016 while just last November former Chief Operating Officer Adam Bain also announced his resignation. Following this just a few days before the Christmas Eve, Twitter's Vice President Josh McFarland took to twitter that he was leaving for he decided to have a business partnership with venture capital firm Greylock Partner.
On December 20 same day as McFarland's departure, Adam Messinger was the latest key employee and hopefully the last to resign from the company. Messinger also took to twitter that he is going to take a break from work. Messinger was actually the product's Vice President when he joined twitter in the year 2011 and later was appointed as Chief Technical Officer in 2013.
As reported by Reuters, changes have been made in the company since the departure of the four best employees. Ed Ho, the Engineering Vice President will now head the overall product and engineering and will report directly to Chief Executive Jack Dorsey. Chief Financial Officer Anthony Noto has taken over the work for Adam Bain.
San Francisco based-Twitter almost had three heads in less than a year as there were really a lot of resignations this year including employees from the product team. The company spokesperson stated during an interview that they are taking steps to improve and maintain the organization by elevating their engineering, product and design functions.
Every employee from executives down to utility is very important in a company given that there was really a huge employee lay-off in Twitter Inc., it is very concerning and alarming. Twitter, however, maintains the demand and still competing with other sites such as Facebook for they have also introduced video live streaming broadcast on their platform just this last quarter of the year, this just proves that twitter has still place in the market and their bankruptcy is just a rumor.
