Samsung’s Foldable Phone 'Galaxy X' Could Be Released Next Year

The mobile technology industry is rapidly rising, with some of the most famous technology brands always on the process of innovating our current mobile trends. And it seems that this 2017, Samsung will be releasing the world's first ever foldable mobile phone.

There is no definite confirmation about the release date from Samsung yet, but tech experts are thinking that the phone's release may be sometime in the year 2017. No official name has been also verified but close sources say it's 'Galaxy X."

Although everything is still top-secret, numerous leaks about the design have been spilling out. But the only legit clue that came from Samsung itself is the phone's apparent design.

These are based on the patents Samsung registered at the United States Patent and Trademark Office last September 2016. According to According to ditaltrends, the diagrams show "a clamshell-like device that resembles a makeup compact, folding out into a traditional rectangular smartphone shape."

"A camera lens is shown on the top of the closed clamshell, an area that becomes the rear of the unfolded phone. A selfie camera and speaker are shown in the inside top of the phone," it added.

For the internal features, nothing yet is verified by Samsung. Tech experts and bloggers are just surmising from Samsung's past choices in specs, but Galaxy X is believed to have a top-notch performance.

Possible features going around Samsung Galaxy X include having 2 variants, with the first one probably utilizing a Snapdragon 620, while the other probably sporting an 820 or 830 processor with a built-in Quick Charge 3.0 technology. 3 GB RAM, a foldable 4K AMOLED display, and storage backed up in a Micro SD card are also reported to be included.

All in all, it's a really exciting phone release for both Android users and Samsung. Stay tuned for more updates.
