On December 23, fans may finally get their hands on the the BAPE x mita Sneakers x Reebok Question Mid, a shoe collaboration between the two sneaker giants. Coincidentally, the release date is in part of the 20th anniversary of the famous Allan Iverson sneakers, along with Allen Iverson's induction into The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, which makes it one of the most anticipated shoe designs this year.
According to Sneaker News, the Question outfitted in BAPE's signature camouflage pattern, constructed in a durable ballistic nylon upper with felt toe caps in olive green. Further special details include BAPE branding on the lace loops in Reebok typeface, their star logos in place of the usual #3 on each heel, and a translucent olive outsole to match the upper. Bringing Japan's mita Sneakers into the mix, the insoles are co-branded with all three parties in the collaboration above a graphic of the shop's signature chain-link fence.
This is not the first time BAPE has collaborated with Reebok. The Reebok Instapump Fury can attest to that. Sneaker News also reported that the latest design on the BAPE Reebok Instapump Fury includes a luxurious high-contrast form with accents of black and white interrupted by an electric green touch on an ambiguous camouflage pattern. Subtle midsole speckling and a unique silhouette construction will make this offering as head-turning as BAPE's previous collaborations with the vector brand.
Allen Iverson has been a great iconic model to off-court hip-hop fashion. With the latest dropping of his signature basketball sneakers before the end of this year, it is a special tribute of Reebok and Bape to commemorate Allan Iverson, just in time for the shoe model's 20th anniversary.
On December 23, Question Mid will be available to select retailer shops around the globe. Retail price will be around $160-200.
