There is something interesting going on at LA Chinatown right now. Bob's Burgers, a famous American animated sitcom by FOX, is having an art show pop-up that started on December 1 and will end on December 10.
This fun art show is being held at Far East Plaza's Unit 120, owned by Chef Alvin Cailan, and it's currently running from 11 am - 5 pm. Bob's Burgers fans will get a chance to witness the artworks done by the show's artists, seeing up close the faces of Bob and Linda Belcher, alongside the show's other main characters.
Although the event is mostly a pop-up art show, Chefs Alvin Cailan, Isla Fabro and other gourmet chefs will be collaborating to serve burgers from December 2 - 6. We have no idea if it's the exact burgers Bob whip up on their show (as we all know we're all eager to try out the real thing), but you can check it out on the said dates from 11 am - 2 pm. And since they're going to be made by top notch chefs, we're sure you won't get disappointed.
Pop-up stores, bars or galleries are becoming a thing now. And Los Angeles, being one of the icons of pop culture, is the perfect place to set-up themed pop-ups.
Although, just like Bob's Burgers, people are keener to go to pop-ups that are tv show-inspired, and several of them like Friends, Breaking Bad, and Twin Peaks, have already made their stint. But with a quirky theme and a pun-filled show whose whole story revolves on burgers, no can argue that Bob's Burgers deserve to be the archetype of pop-ups.
The team of Bob's Burgers is currently set up in the adjacent dining room space in Unit 120. For 10 days you can stop by and immerse yourself in the world of Bob's Burgers anytime, treat yourself a burger, take a selfie-you name it. The whole event may probably be the only Bob Burger's pop-up in history, so don't miss out.
