“Assassin’s Creed” Empire is the upcoming adventure stealth video game that will be released on Xbox One and Playstation 4 in 2017 and is the 10th instalment of the “Assassin’s Creed” Franchise. The game is a prequel and takes place before the timeline of Assassins and Templars. Just like its previous instalments, the game is played on a third-person perspective with an open world environment. Completions of quests are required for players to advance in the game and can perform side missions as well.
Gameplay- “Assassin’s Creed” Empire will feature full player progression, a free from combat system and a colourful open world environment, according to racingjunky. This vibrant world will contain elements of blue skies,, green vegetation, desert sequences, mirages and transportation such as horses and boats, as what the media outlet stated. “Assassin’s Creed” Empire will take an inspiration from the popular “The Witcher“, which has a RPG element. “Assassin Creed” Empire will have new graphics and will no longer reuse other game layouts unlike its previous installments.
Plot-“Assassin’s Creed” Empire takes place in the land of the pharaohs and pyramids, ancient Egypt, and is the first part of a new trilogy with the same character. The main protagonist of the game is an ex-slave that has a similar look on Altair but with darker skin. The character of this new trilogy will make his way to ancient Greece and ancient Rome, according to denofgeek.
Release date- Ubisoft, a game developer company, declared that “Assassin’s Creed” Empire should have an alpha testing in order to enhance and polish the game prior its release. In addition, Ubisoft announced that the game’s possible release date will be in 2017 or beyond. A rumor has it that there will be no Assassin’s Creed this year.
With the disappointment of the “Assassin’s Creed” Unity, Ubisoft needs to evolve its gameplay and make sure that it will deliver a memorable gaming experience that fans needed to bounce back from fatigue.
