Screenvision Media, a known national cinema advertising leader, has created an alliance with 4K Media to release the much awaited "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" movie to more than 500 theaters across the United States and Canada. The aforementioned film will be distributed on January 20th and run as a limited-time theatrical engagement.
"Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" will show how the stakes have never been higher. The rivalries and risks will be as fierce and great, respectively. Just one wrong move or one card short, the game will be over for good. A decade in the making, "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" shows new designs and a new plot from the original creator of the global phenomenon, Kazuki Takahashi. His story features anime's most loved characters in their highly anticipated return: Yugi Muto, Seto Kaiba and their faithful friends Joey Wheeler, Tristan Taylor, Téa Gardner and Bakura. According to Yu-Gi-Oh!, it is considered as the most long-waited re-YU-nion ever."

Meanwhile, Anime News Network said that "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" already opened in Taiwan on September 15, and in Hong Kong on October 13, and will open in Malaysia on November 24. "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" is directed by Satoshi Kuwabara, and earned over 800 million yen (about US$7.5 million) in Japan.
