Tom Clancy’s “Ghost Recon”, the popular tactical shooter video game, is going to get a tenth instalment in 2017 known as tom Clancy’s “Ghost Recon Wildlands”. It was announced that this will be the first game to include an open world environment.
Gameplay - Tom Clancy’s “Ghost Recon Wildlands” is a tactical third person shooter video game that features an open world environment. Players play as a member of a fictional elite special operations squad called as “Ghosts” in the United States Army. The game adopts a modern day setting just like in the original “Ghost Recon.”
Plot - “Ghost Recon Wildlands” takes place in an unstable country of Bolivia as the Drug Cartels of Santa Barbara expands its influence to the point where the county has become the largest cocaine producer. The United Stated government has become alarmed with the rise of these drug cartels and as a result, an elite Special Operations unit known as “Ghosts” was dispatched by the Unites States Army to eliminate the cartel and expose the connection between the Bolivia’s local government and Santa Blanca.
Furthermore, “Ghost Recon Wildlands” features a dynamic day and night system, which makes it more realistic than its previous instalments. Likewise, the weapons, artilleries and equipment of “Ghost Recon Wildlands” are similar to what is used in the military from all over the world.
Beta Testing And Release- According to gamenguide, “Ghost Recon Wildlands” will have an open beta testing somewhere around the first quarter of 2017. This will enable the Ubisoft to ask for player’s feedback and implement changes should there be any. In addition, the company announced that a closed beta will follow after the release of the open beta, stated by Fabnewz. Tom Clancy’s “Ghost Recon Wildlands” is set to launch on March 7, 2017 for Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Check out the trailer below.
