"Outlander" season 2 episode 7 will feature Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in the hospital as she struggles for the life of her unborn child while Jamie (Sam Heughan) was sent away to Bastille for dueling with Jonathan Randall (Tobias Menzies) which is illegal in Paris.
The couple's relationship will once again be put to test especially that Claire is angry at her husband's actions since he broke his promise that he will not fight with Black Jack not until their child is born. But now, Jamie is facing the consequence of his actions when he stabbed Black Jack Randall on his genitals.
While in the hospital, Claire confides in Mother Hildegarde (Frances de la Tour) and inquired about her husband who informed her that Jamie is currently in jail and will stay imprisoned until the king will release him, SpoilerTV reported.
Jamie will meet King Louis (Lionel Lingelser) and appears to be very friendly to Jamie. To recall, the king expressed his despise to the British and to the uniform of Black Jack. Fans are looking forward if the king will be more sympathetic to Jamie and if he will set him free.
The sixth episode entitled "Faith" will feature how Claire will struggle to save her husband from prison after he stabbed Black Jack on the genitals. Although Jamie broke his promise and upset Claire, she needs to do something to help him. TV Guide hinted that Claire would need to betray Jamie to save him.
Another interesting plot for the episode is King Louise asking Claire to judge some people who have been accused of "dark arts" practice. But the judgment won't be easy for her since one of the people is her friend and another is an enemy.
"Outlander" season 2 episode 7 "Faith" will be on air Saturday, May 22 at 9 p.m. ET.
