Miley Cyrus found dead reports surfaced on the Internet once again. It would seem that the "Wrecking Ball" singer has become a victim of yet another celebrity death hoax.
According to multiple posts on social media, the songstress's body was found next to several bottles of pills. Plus, a Facebook page has been entirely dedicated to her death, as it has been entitled "RIP Miley Cyrus (1992-2014)."
The page was also accompanied by an image that showed the 21-year-old "Adore You" singer passed out on what looked like a bed, with bottles of pills surrounding her. This image made it seem like the famous musician had died due to a "drug overdose."
Some of Cyrus's fans were quick to believe the faux reports. One Twitter user wrote, "I heard a rumor this morning that Miley Cyrus died from overdose. I was so afraid." Another was a bit more skeptical, "Is this Miley Cyrus found dead story real?"
Thankfully, however, not everyone was quick to believe online reports without doing any further research. One social media user posted online, "People on my Facebook are sharing an article that Miley Cyrus just died. Some of you need to chill out. It's crazy." Another fan wrote, "@MileyCyrus has died at least 7 times in the past 2 years LOL."
Later, it turned out that the viral photo that showed the singer passed out due to a drug overdose was actually only grabbed from her latest music video for "Blonde Super Freak Steals the Magic Brain" that she made with the Flaming Lips.
Although the viral report offered a link, which they said would give readers more details about Miley Cyrus found dead, the link actually only lead people to watchwhatyoudo.info. Sadly for those who clicked on the link, it is actually a malicious website, as confirmed by Online Threat Alerts.
