Terry Keenan Anchor Dies: Massive Cerebral Hemorrhage Caused Sudden Death

Terry Keenan anchor dies - Renowned former anchor for Fox News and CNN and columnist for the New York Post, Terry Keenan passed away suddenly on Oct. 23. Keenan had suffered from a massive cerebral haemorrhage. The anchor died at the age of 56.

Reports by the Hollywood Reporter state that Terry Keenan anchor died Thursday night at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Before Keenan had died of a massive cerebral haemorrhage, the 56-year old managed to submit a column for the New York Post last Oct. 19.

Keenan was a former anchor for Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel. She hosted the Saturday program entitled "Cashin' In." In 2009, Keenan left Fox News. Prior to working for Fox News, Keenan had worked as CNN's' producer for the show "Moneyline" before becoming a correspondent in the year 1986. From the years 1995 to 1998, Keenan served as CNBC's anchor.

Obviously, the former CNN and Fox News anchor had a prestigious career in the media business. Following Terry Keenan anchor's death, the family had released a statement via Mediaite.

"It is with tremendous sorrow that we report the passing ... of a wonderful mother, wife, sister and pioneering financial journalist," said the statement. Keenan is survived by her son, Benjamin Keenan Kass from husband Ron Kass. Also having released a statement following Terry Keenan anchor's death is Linda, Terry's sister.

"It is with tremendous sorrow that we report the passing, due to a massive cerebral hemorrhage, of a wonderful mother, wife, sister, and pioneering financial journalist," stated Linda in a report by Hollywood Life, adding, "Terry was a trailblazer who credited much of her success to her beloved mother's emphasis on education, which led her to Holy Names Academy in Albany, NY, and a math scholarship to Johns Hopkins University."

Before Terry Keenan anchor died, she had managed to be the first financial journalist to report live at the New York Stock Exchange according to Daily Mail.
