Real Madrid has been hot these past few weeks, thanks to the goal-scoring resurgence of Cristiano Ronaldo. The pieces they acquired last summer are starting to fit well with the mainstays nicely, as the passing brilliance of James Rodriguez and Toni Kross allows Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to thrive inside the box.
For Madrid, a victory on their home turf will catapult them one point behind the league-leading Barca. On the other hand, a loss could be fatal to their La Liga chances.
Barcelona, meanwhile, is looking to solidify their positive above the rest of the pack early this season. Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique confirmed that the controversial Suarez, who is coming off a four-month ban after biting Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup, will play in Saturday's clash with Real Madrid, although he might not get a starting nod right away/
"Today I cannot play this game but you will have assurance he will play minutes," Enrique told Spanish media at his pre-match press conference via ESPN FC. "How many? I do not know. It's an important occasion for him and he will have minutes."
