The Dallas Cowboys are destined to win their sixth Super Bowl crown this season at the expense of the Denver Broncos in perhaps the most explosive title-game in American football history.
At least, this is the scenario Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban would want to happen for his beloved Cowboys, who have been turning heads as of late with their scintillating performances in their last six games.
In his appearance in Good Morning America on Saturday, the outspoken Mavs owner made a bold prediction about the Cowboys' title chance at the end of the season, believing America's former team will beat the newly minted America's favorite squad - the Denver Broncos - in a high-scoring fashion.
"It is going to be the Cowboys versus the Broncos with the Cowboys coming on top 53-51 in the highest scoring Super Bowl ever," said Cuban, whose basketball team, the Dallas Mavericks, is also set to make some noise this season following a series of solid free-agency acquisitions this summer.
Boys' Making Their Case
A week after punishing the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on their home turf, the Cowboys went on to win their sixth straight game against the New York Giants 31-21 on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
In the victory, DeMarco Murray has become the only player in NFL history to top 100 rushing yards in the first seven games of a season. Murray, the league's rushing leader with 913 yards, finished the game with 128 rushing yards on 28 carries and one touchdown.
Romo, who covered 279 yards with three TDs and one interception in the match, praised his running back for proving another stellar performance on the field while staying his feet grounded all the time.
"I love that kid," Romo told reporters after the game via ESPN. "He really exemplifies everything you want in a player. He's hard-working. He's humble. He's a team-first guy. He's talented. He's explosive."
With the victory, the Cowboys improved their record to 6-1, a half game ahead of NFC East division rival Philadelphia Eagles (5-1), who are having their bye week on Week 7.
