The small cyclist and pedestrian bridge connecting Slovakia to Austria will be named after the American action movie star, the Chuck Norris.
The name came out tops in an internet vote among many other names which included "finally a bridge" translated literally from Slovak.
According to Reuters, the final decision will be made by county's board members who will consult the name with his Austrian colleagues.
Norris, a martial arts expert-turned film star, is known for playing tough guy characters in such classic movies as Lone Wolf McQuade, Missing in Action and The Delta Force.
Norris commonly features in jokes told in the central European country.
