Rarely does it occur that Robert Pattinson's movies are nominated for an award save for the Razzie Award countlessly awarded to "Twilight." Now, however the actor has proven his acting prowess with his latest film "The Rover."
"The Rover" is one of Robert Pattinson movies more on the heavy drama, which falls in the same genre as his earlier films "Remember Me" and "Water for Elephants." Directed by David Michôd, the film takes place ten years after the global economic collapse in the Australian outback. Joining Pattinson in the star studded cast is Guy Pearce and Scoot McNairy.
The Australian drama film has been included in the nominees for the upcoming Screen Producers Australia Awards. "The Rover" along with "Felony," "The Railway Man," "Wolf Creek 2" and "Tracks" have been nominated in the award section for feature film production. The Screen Producers Australia Awards will be held on Nov. 18 in Melbourne, which will also be part of the Screen Forever conference held annually.
