Robin Williams' wife, Susan Schneider has recently revealed about her husband's health condition before his tragic death while she also expressed their desire to expand their family which unfortunately did not happen.
The "Mrs. Doubtfire" star's passing has drawn mixed reactions from the media especially when it was known that he died due to asphyxiation after hanging himself. There were different stories pointed which were believed to be the reason why he committed suicide. One most common theory about the actor's death is that he took his life allegedly due to having financial issues; it can be noted that the actor's net worth has dropped after having costly divorces from his two former wives, but the idea has been dropped by the actor's rep.
Reports have been also saying that Robin Williams has been actually suffering from great depression, but what's even more revealing is his wife's confession about him diagnosed with the early stage of Parkinson's disease, a disorder affecting the person's nervous system. According to Schneider's statement, the actor is currently suffering from the said illness and that he's not yet ready to share the news to the public.
According to the report from Radar Online, Robin Williams told his wife that he actually lost the will to live. With this, he was brought to Minnesota's Hazelden Treatment Center to seek help for the depression that he's feeling. The actor who was also battling alcohol addiction for years did not have a relapse before he entered the rehab facility.
With the Academy award-winning actor's sudden death, Schneider reportedly remains secluded and partly blames herself for what happened. Aside from that, it was also revealed that the couple is actually trying to expand their family by having kids. Schneider who's already 50 still wanted to have kids with her husband, but the actor is quite hesitant to have another child due to his history of depression. Robin Williams actually has three kids, Zak, 31, Zelda, 25, and Cody, 22 from his previous wives.
