Oscar Pistorius Is Back To Trial For His Girlfriend’s Murder After Ruled To Be In Good Mental State [VIDEO]

Oscar Pistorius' girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp has been allegedly shot by the paralympian following a Valentine's Day fight and as the trial continues, health experts revealed that the suspect is not in a state of mental illness.

It seems like the double-amputee paralympian has no escape for the crime he committed after shooting Steenkamp on February. The previous trials were actually very heart -breaking that Oscar Pistorius broke down several times while the murder of his girlfriend has been recalled. Although he already claimed that he only mistakenly shot Steenkamp as an intruder, experts are now saying that he was in a sound mind when the incident occurred which could actually be a huge point for his conviction in the case.

The runner's mental health has been put into question after there were claims presenting that he is suffering from an anxiety disorder following the tragic death of his lover. Investigation regarding his real mental status began when Dr. Merryll Vorster testified for the defense that the runner who already felt vulnerable due to his condition and case has an anxiety disorder which eventually developed just few hours after Steenkamp's murder.

Oscar Pistorius is allegedly the suspect for his girlfriend's murder after he shot her to death. While the prosecutors are trying to solve the case, the paralympian claims that what happened was just an accident. He actually shot his lover from the other side of the bathroom door as he thought of her as an intruder.

While the exact roots and story is still hanging, Prosecutor Gerri Nel believes that Oscar Pistorius purposely shot his girlfriend after they had an argument during that day. He even sated that the athlete is actually in love with guns. With the possibility of argument of the runner not being guilty due to mental illness, he reportedly requested an independent inquiry to the suspect's state of mind.

If proven guilty, Oscar Pistorius will be spending 25 years of his life in prison for the murder of his girlfriend. He is currently free after he bailed.
