Harrison Ford Originally Has A Broken Leg, When Will the Actor Resume Working as “Star Wars 7” Han Solo?[VIDEO]

Harrison Ford was confirmed to suffer from a broken leg which is in contrast to previous reports saying that the actor injured his ankle while on set filming the episode 7 of 'Star Wars'.

A shocking news of the actor's sudden injury surfaced last week which reportedly occurred while they were filming his upcoming movie in Pinewood Studios in England. The actor was actually airlifted to be rushed into a hospital in Oxford after he was injured on the set. The actor who was filming 'Star Wars: Episode VII' at that time will be reprising his role as the original Han Solo along with other original cast members such as Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.

Harrison Ford's publicist confirmed on Thursday that the actor's injury was actually worse than previously reported as he suffered from a broken left leg and not an ankle injury. The Hollywood star was originally thought to suffer from an injured ankle after the studio's statement released after the incident. Publicist Ina Treciokas has confirmed the injury in the released statement, but she did not share further details regarding how long the actor will be out to go back for work.

The accident happened when the door of Han Solo's spacecraft known as the Millenium Falcon allegedly fell on the actor resulting to his injury. Treciokas also said that Harrison Ford underwent a surgery to correct his broken leg and was fortunately successful. She also revealed that the actor will be soon starting with his rehab program.

Now that Harrison Ford is trying to recover from a broken leg injury, it is still a question if he will recover just in time to continue filming the movie before it reaches its release date. If he won't be able to recover in time, then the release date of the film may be moved from its original Dec.18, 2015 release.

The Star Wars film was actually a great help for the actor to achieve his international fame as he portrayed Han Solo. After Harrison Ford's broken leg injury, British Health And Safety Executive are now seeking enquiries regarding the incident.
