James Maslow Made a Goodbye Kiss to “Dancing with the Stars” Season 18 As the Grand Finale Happens Tonight[VIDEO]

Only hours to go and the "Dancing with the Stars" season 18 is about to air its grand finale, but as the contenders prepare for the grand event James Maslow will no longer be joining them.

As the competition gets tough, one more celebrity has fallen and will not be able to perform in the finale night. Following the Monday night's performance, James Maslow of Dancing with the Stars became the last eliminated contender. Although he and his dance partner Peta Murgatroyd shocked the entire audience and judges with their sensual kiss, the two were still unable to make it.

The dancing partners who were rumored to be dating the entire season weren't able to made it to the final round despite scoring 58 out of 60 from their two routine performances. A shocking news over the weekend has speculated that other dancing pair will be expected to leave the show. Mark Ballas, Candace Cameron Bure's dance pro partner was seriously injured on Sunday after performing a complicated maneuver for their routine.

Dancing with the Stars' James Maslow and Peta scored 29 each for tango and freestyle routines. Although the couple landed on the third place with their scores, they were still eliminated after the fans have favored Ballas and Bure. The eliminated couple actually gained the lowest scores combined from the judges and from the votes.

Despite from the fact that James Maslow will no longer be performing for the Dancing with the Stars finale, the celebrity is excited and relieve that he is already free and can do whatever he want without a contract.

"...there's also a sense of relief and excitement that this is the first time in six years that I'm going to be free to go and do what I want to do, not on a contract," Maslow said.

With James Maslow out of the Dancing with the Stars grand finale, the remaining pairs are in a tight fight. Who will be among Candace, Amy and Meryl that will be declared as champions? The finale will be on Tuesday night at 9-11 p.m.
