As the dance competition is about to end this week, a sudden change of fate occurred to one of the 'Dancing with the Stars' dance pro which is expected to cause a change of results.
It is no longer new that an injury has occurred to a dancer on the show, but this week? It is quite an improper timing for Mark Ballas and his celebrity partner that he got injured on Sunday since this week's performance is going to determine if they will win as champions or not. With the Dancing with the Stars about to end, it is quite uncertain if the results will be favorable to the dance pro and his partner.
It may be a twist of fate that happened to Ballas as he reportedly got injured during the rehearsals for the final week of the show. According to the confirmation made by ABC, the dance pro was seriously injured after rehearsing camera blocking. Ballas and his celebrity partner Candace Cameron Bure had a complicated maneuver in their routine.
The routine actually involved lifting Bure with his shoulders. According to the spokesperson of the show, Ballas shoulders popped during the lift and he fell into the floor in pain. He was then taken to the hospital for treatment while it is still unclear if he will be able to perform this Monday night, thus, possibly affecting the Dancing with the Stars final results.
To eliminate the possibility of an injury getting worse, Ballas was encouraged to sit out the Monday's finale, but he insisted that he will perform. As a precaution if Ballas can't dance on Monday night, another DWTS pro will learn the routine with Bure so that she can perform in the finals. With that, it is quite expected that this will have a huge impact to the Dancing with the Stars results.
This will be a special week for all of the contenders since this is already the final week and on Tuesday night, they will already know who will win. The season 18 two-night finale will begin on Monday night at 8p.m. wherein the remaining couples will dance. The Dancing with the Stars season 18 results will then be revealed the following night following a one-hour recap special.
