Lea Michele paid tribute to Cory Monteith on Sunday, the supposed 32nd birthday of her late boyfriend.
Playing as Finn and Rachel, who were on-screen lovers in the hit TV show "Glee", Michele and Monteith are also sharing an off-screen romance. The two were actually one of the young couples in Hollywood until Monteith's tragic death in 2013. Lea Michele who has been vocal about her grief with her boyfriend's death has paid tribute to the actor by posting a photo of them in her Twitter account.
The photo was captioned: "The biggest heart and most beautiful smile.. In all of our hearts.. We love you so. Happy Birthday,". It was then favourited by hundred thousands of followers and was retweeted as much. The Glee star had a very hard time facing the tragic ending of her boyfriend, but was supported by her family and friends as she grieved over Monteith.
It can be remembered that the 31 year-old actor was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver, Canada on July last year. Coroner reports that the cause of the star's death was due to mixed drug toxicity. It primarily involved heroin and alcohol but according to the report, his death was unintentional.
As Michele pays tribute to her late boyfriend, she publicly said on January that she feels as if Cory is watching over her and giving her strength. After the actor's passing, she said in Twitter that Cory will always be in her heart. It is actually not the first time that the heartbroken woman remembers her late boyfriend.
Just after a month of Monteith's death, Michele also paid tribute to the late actor during the People's Choice Award last year. The 27 year-old brunette also told Teen Vogue that her relationship with the actor is something that makes her feel like reaching for stars.
Furthermore, the Michele recently releases her new single entitled "If You Say So" which particularly pays tribute to the late actor. Its touching lyrics is associated with her boyfriend's passing. When asked if the star is now ready to date someone, she admit that she's not ready yet and that she's now focusing to her music career.
