Ukraine fighting 2014 continues as four Ukrainian soldiers were killed by rebels contributing to the worsening crisis.
The Ukrainian military announced that four of their soldiers were killed in the worsening Ukraine fighting 2014. Rebels are becoming stronger as they use heavy weapons to fight against the military forces. Pro-Russian militants have already seized government buildings and more Ukrainian cities in the east according to BBC news.
Another fight broke out between the rebels and the government on Monday after the Ukrainian government tried to regain control of the Black Sea port of Odessa. Reports even say that the gunmen has been using heavy weapons which included mortars.
Moreover, according to the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, the Mi-24 helicopter has crashed into the river after being heavily fired by machine gun at about 2:30 p.m. Crew of the aircraft survived after being rescued by the Ukraine security personnel. This is actually the third helicopter of the government that was shot down.
A day before another feud erupted on Monday, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, according to BBC news accused Russia of plotting to destroy Ukraine and its statehood. "Russia's aim was to repeat in Odessa what is happening in the east of the country," he said, insisting Kiev had not lost control of the region. On Friday which is marked to be the worst day of violence of the Ukraine fighting 2014, about 46 people have died from the clash and fire in Odessa wherein most who got killed were pro-Russian separatists.
As a result of the Ukraine fight 2014 on Friday, Odessa has canceled all the large public events scheduled this upcoming May 9 holidays that commemorate victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.
