TSA busted a 26 year-old woman on early Friday morning when she checked in her baggage full of pot.

A shocking discovery was made by the Transportation Security Administration on Friday as they were able to recover a baggage full of marijuana. The package of marijuana recovered is not just in minute amounts, but an overwhelming three suitcases filled with all pots. TSA busted nearly 81 pounds of marijuana carefully packed in three different suitcases.

A 26 year-old woman was held in custody after being caught carrying luggage full of illegal drugs in the Oakland International Airport. The arrested woman is said to be flying from Oakland back to her home in Jackson, Mississippi. According to the TSA spokesman, Anastasia Murdock checked in her baggage for a US Airways flight heading to Jackson before 6 A.M. on Friday.

TSA busted Murdock carries the drugs when her suitcases were screened according to Mercury news. Screening procedures which are done at all the bags on the airport is governed by the federal law and is mainly done to detect imminent threats to the plane and to the passengers. According to the report, the woman went to terminal 1 after her bags were checked and while waiting, her luggage were checked and it revealed large amounts of pot inside.

81 pounds of marijuana were neatly packed, but according to Sgt. Ray Kelly with the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, it will still emit an odor even if vacuumed sealed. Sgt. Kelly also added that this case is quite odd because the attempt of smuggling the drugs is too obvious. Moreover, Melendez also said that the woman didn't say anything, why she had so much marijuana and why she was traveling with it.

Street value of marijuana in Mississippi could reach five times than that in California, which is estimated up to half million dollars. After TSA busted Murdock, the woman is now being held in Santa Rita Jail facing criminal charges. She is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday afternoon.
