Though, the couple tried to keep their romance behind the camera by not giving much details about their relationship, Chris Martin has finally revealed that his own demons were a factor for the failure of their marriage.
When the new of the couple's separation came out, many were intrigued why they came up with the decision. Many rumors came out like issues of infidelity, parenting styles, family plans and even dietary restrictions. In an interview with BBC Radio 1, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow split was labeled by the singer as a realization.
"I wouldn't use the word breakdown - this was more a realization about trying to grow up, basically," Martin said in the interview.
The media has been unkind to Paltrow when she posted about their split in her blog on March 25.
