Lindsay Lohan disclosed on Sunday that she had a miscarriage. The 27-year old actress revealed during her reality show's two-hour finale that she suffered from a miscarriage recently thus explaining why she asked for two weeks off during filming.
"No one knows this, and we can finish after this, I had a miscarriage for the two weeks that I took off," Lohan said on the verge of tears, during her final "confessional" with the producers. Long pause. "It's a very long story," she said, leaving it at that with no other details.
Lohan said that the unfortunate incident left her immobilized. "I couldn't move, I was sick," the Mean Girls actress said. "Mentally, that messes with you."
"Watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment, and I can relate to that girl, which sounds kind of crazy," she said. "I'm like, 'Oh my God, this is really sad, who's helping her?"
LiLo said the crisis was hinted in a previous episode of the show when she couldn't leave her room and it was announced "she doesn't want to come down."
Lindsay declined to identify who the father or how far along in the pregnance she was when the miscarriage happened.
While the finale aired, Lohan's mom, Dina Lohan took to Twitter "Oprah call me" in apparent referral to OWN founder, Oprah Winfrey. The tweet has since been deleted.
Oprah is reportedly thinking about pulling out the show due to it low ratings. Lindsay garnered less than 700,000 viewers through its course.
Oprah has not made any statement yet regarding Lindsay's personal confession.
