Alexis Bledel engaged to boyfriend Vincent Kartheiser after knowing each other two years ago.
Despite trying to keep their romance out of the public's eyes, "Mad Men" star Kartheiser has finally opened up about his romance with the actress. After knowing each other on the set of Mad Men season 5, Bledel and Kartheiser eventually started dating. One year after they met, Alexis Bledel engaged to Kartheiser in March 2013.
Before the two became real-life lovers, they were first co-stars as Bledel appeared in Mad Men season 5. Since they become couple, Vincent is very protective of his relationship with the actress but during an interview with Vulture, he gives a glimpse of their blossoming love. Now that the two are soon to become husband and wife though exact date of the upcoming marriage is not yet revealed, the mad Men actor shared that he never saw each other out and that everything was completely professional.
"We were completely professional. We never saw each other out. We never-it was nothing, it was just work." Kartheiser told Vulture.
If the actor didn't see it coming, his co-workers did. Co-star Jon Hamm said in the interview that he already knew that Kartheiser liked Bledel at an early point. "I did know he liked her from a very early point... I was a supporter of that union." Hamm said.
Another positive quote from Mad Men creator regarding the couple's relationship was given. Matthew Weiner added that they would be great together. Before Alexis Bledel engaged Vincent Kartheiser in real life, Weiner also told the writers of the show that the two would eventually get married due to the fact that they are a perfect match.
