Planet of the Apes 2014 is again going to dominate the big screen as another 'Planet of the Apes' series will be released this July.
The eight film of the movie franchise is actually the sequel of the 2011 film 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' which starred James Franco. Though Franco will not be joining the sequel, the Planet of the Apes 2014 film is still star packed. The film will be again dealing with the revolutionary ape, Caesar.
One of the most-awaited films this year includes the ape film entitled "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" which is expected to hit theaters on July 11 is directed by Matt Reeves. On May 2012, it was confirmed by Century Fox that the sequel will be released in 2014. Star studded cast members include famous celebrities such as Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Jason Clarke and Andy Serkis who will be reprising his role as Caesar.
While everybody is working on the Planet of the Apes 2014 film, many of its supporters were also asking if James Franco will be appearing in its sequel. Speculations about him not joining the sequel film broke in December 2012 in accordance to the departure of director Rupert Wyatt of Rise of the Planet of the Apes 2011.
"Now Rupert's not a part of it so I don't know. My guess is I won't be in it. Nobody's talked to me since Rupert left." Franco said.
Movie viewers will surely enjoy the upcoming film as Planet of the Apes 2014 tells the journey of Caesar as the leader of the genetically-evolved apes. The film tells the growing nation of apes which is threatened by the human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed ten years ago. Though a peaceful treaty was reached, it never lasted as the two species try to determine who will dominate the earth.
Filming of Planet of the Apes 2014 began in April 2013 in the town of British Columbia. Other location for the movie was in New Orleans.
