NINA DAVULURI DANCE INVITATION FROM A HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR STUDENT PROMPTED THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS TO ISSUE PUNISHMENT[VIDEOS+REPORT]

Nina Davuluri dance invitation from a high school senior student resulted into a disciplinary action.

To ask the newly crowned Miss America for a dance in a prom is probably not that easy but a lucky high school student just did. The 18 year-old student from Pennsylvania really did ask Nina Davuluri for a dance when the beauty queen visited Central York High School in York. Everything will probably turn out just fine since everybody knows that busy people like Davuluri surely has less time for such requests however, the unfortunate part is that the said student received a three-day suspension after asking Miss America.

Eighteen year-old Patrick Farves was suspended after giving Nina Davuluri a dance invitation. The school administration has decided to punish the senior student for the inappropriate behavior he showed. Reports say that prior to the incident, school administrators already warned the student that it would be inappropriate to invite Nina Davuluri dance when they caught Farves' plan.

According to the York dispatch, Farves joked to his friends that he would ask the reigning Miss America to a dance when he heard that Davuluri will be coming to the school. Despite of the previous warning that Farves received from the officials of the school, he still managed to ask Nina Davuluri dance with him to the prom during the question and answer portion.

The teen student became the center of the crowd as she asked Nina Davuluri dance with him. He also ran up to the stage and gives the beauty a flower. Farves also asked to take a selfie with her but Miss America said that "maybe later".

The student's action was then corrected by the school administrators by giving Farves a three-day suspension for the grounds of defying the officials who warned him not to ask Nina Davuluri dance with him. After learning a lesson, Farves later apologized by writing a letter. The current Miss America was at school to talk with students regarding diversity and the importance of science, technology, engineering and math studies.

"I don't want to be the kind of person to try to justify myself ... I didn't intend to disrespect the administration. I can see how it was seen as a slap in the face." Patrick Farves told the Dispatch.
