Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine are not just simply engaged but they are also partners in terms of fashion as Levine launched a new clothing line exclusively for women.
It's quite unbelievable that Adam Levine who was named as "People's Sexiest Man Alive" is now selling a women's wear. Levine recently launched Kmart collection for women after launching its menswear line last fall. Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine who are now engaged were much involved in the creation of this new clothing line for ladies.
"I didn't want it to just be something that I phoned in," Levine said. "So I was really involved in the process."
The singer-turned-designer also emphasized that his lack of training in the fashion world is not a hindrance for him to engage in the said business. "I don't know how to read music, but I can still play. So I don't really give a (expletive) about formal training or going to school" Adam said last Thursday.
Levine's newest collection is being retailed for about $30 or less. According to the Chicago Tribune, the collection appears to be affordable as the prices for the apparel ranges from $12.99 to $29.99 while $6.99 to $29.99 for the accessories. Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine came up with the fashion line that features colorful twill shorts, casual printed T-shirts and assortment of denim.
The creation of Adam Levine's clothing wear has been a big challenge for the singer due to the fact that he's launching a fashion line for his opposite sex. In order to come up with something feminine, the Maroon 5 front man sneaked into his fiancé's closet to have an inspiration and together, Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine collaborated on a few pieces.
"I kind of know what I like for both men and women. I think that it's a little more difficult and challenging when you're not, it's not something you can conceptualize, or it's not something you can conceive of wearing. So I needed to get a little bit of help" Adam Levine said.
Victoria's secret model Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine were already engaged last July 2013 after dating since 2012.
