Nikko Jenkins victims were all dead after being shot in three separate killings during his ten day-wicked spree yet still insisted that he didn't commit such crimes.
The Nebraska man was found guilty for the murder of four individuals in Omaha last summer. The said killing incidents were done separately after Jenkins' release from prison without any supervision in July. Nikko Jenkins victims included Juan Uribe-Pena, Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz, Curtis Bradford and Andrea Kruger.
A handwritten motion from Jenkins was filed last week to the Douglas County District Court sating his intention to plead guilty to all felony counts against him. However, a change of mind might have occurred on Wednesday. According to the Mail Online, he pleaded no contest to the different counts of murder, eight weapon counts linked to the killings and other two counts of felony. Despite of these pleas, Judge Peter Bataillon found him guilty of all the charges.
Prosecutors say that the murder of Nikko Jenkins victims is just a cover up for his robbery or to prevent them from identifying him. As the prosecutors recounted the details of his murders, Jenkins just smirked and laughed briefly. He also insisted that he didn't remember killing anyone and that he was ordered by an Egyptian god named "Ahpophis" to kill four individuals as a human sacrifice.
It can be recalled that during the February hearing, Jenkins was described as a "psychopath" and "one of the most dangerous" people evaluated by Dr. Eugenio Oliveto, a psychiatrist who serves in Douglas County's prison system.
It was in August 11 that Nikko Jenkins victims, Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz and Juan Uribe-Pena were both shot in the head after being lured to Spring Lake Park. In the 19th day of August, he executed his fellow prisoner Curtis Bradford after luring him into the 18th and Clark Streets of Ohama. Two days after, he shot Andrea Kruger in the head, neck and back, killing her in the middle of the road.
One of Nikko Jenkins victims' deaths has actually upset the 27 year-old killer. He seemed to be disappointed about Kruger's death during the robbery. He also argued that he wouldn't hurt a woman unless ordered by his so-called Egyptian god. Moreover, the prosecutors said that they will seek death penalty for Jenkins.
