Seminole County Sheriff's Lt. Pete Brenenstuhl reports that the woman who was the only victim of the recent bear attack in Florida saw as many as five bears "of various sizes" rooting through her trash. That's when she happened to walk into the garage. Brenenstuhl detailed that the black bear allegedly dragged the woman "from inside the garage out into her driveway", which left her with scrapes and cuts to her face and legs.

Fortunately, the woman who was the victim of the recent bear attack in Florida, escaped and ran back into her home. Her husband immediately called 911 and the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Greg Workman, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman said that initial reports on the recent bear attack in Florida were wrong. "There were several bears observed near the area, but one bear is responsible for her injuries."

Lt. Jeff Hudson further confirmed that the woman had an "encounter with a black bear" but there were no reports of multiple bears being involved in the recent bear attack in Florida.
