A municipal court judge in Ohio ordered a man convicted of harassment to stand in the corner of the street and wear a signage that says "I am a bully."
Judge Gayle Williams-Byers ordered Edmond Aviv to hold a large sign that could be seen by as far as 25 feet that read: I AM A BULLY! I pick on children that are disabled, and I am intolerant of those that are different from myself.
The 62-year old resident of South Euclid did not contest to the disorderly conducted charged against him after he reportedly harassed the Prughs and her children with developmental disabilities.
Aviv's longstanding feud with Sandra Prugh caused him to do misdemeanor to the family, court records reported.
His recent actions include racial slur and setting up a dryer near the garage and pouring kerosene into the family to make the family's house smell gas.
"He would do things like shine a spotlight at their house at three in morning so the family couldn't sleep," Judge Williams-Byers told Fox News.
A local newspaper, Plain Dealer, also reported that Aviv spit and scattered feces in one of the cars and in the wheelchair ramp of the Prughs.
Sandra Prugh expressed her concern for her family's safety after the court convicted Aviv. "I just want our family to live in peace," she told Plain Dealer
Aside from wearing the sign, the court also sentenced him to jail for 15 days, write an apology letter, undergo anger management trainings and advised him to seek counseling.
Aviv admitted his misdemeanor and apologized to the family. In a letter he wrote, he said that he understood that his actions have caused harm to the family, "at that time I was not really thinking about it."
"I want to express my sincere apology for acting irrationally towards your house and the safety of your children," he stated in the letter he submitted to the court.
Sandra Prugh lives with her husband and son, and her two adopted children who have cerebral palsy and epilepsy in their South Euclid, Ohio home.
