Pacquio's win finally gained him redemption after Bradley's win in 2012 that sparked controversy after the judges arrived into a split decision and even resulted to investigation from the

Pacquiao though was not able to meet his pronouncements that he will knock down the American boxer.

The Desert Storm started out aggressively as if to insinuate Pacquiao to fight. He delivered heavy punches during the first rounds, with Pacquiao combined punches and blocking to dodge the 30-year old boxer's moves. As the rounds proceeded, Pacquiao became more active and did not lose his stamina. He delivered wild punches that trapped Bradley against the ropes. Bradley also backed-off a couple of times in each round.

Bradle has thrown 627 punches, more than the punches thrown by Pacquiao, but only 22% of those impacted to Pacquiao. Pacquiao was able to block and miss the heavy punches delivered by Desert Storm.

At the end of Round 12, Pacquiao emerged as the winner and Bradley accepted his defeat in front of more than 15, 000 fans at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

"I tried, I really tried," Bradley said.

Timothy Bradley said that he really wanted a knock-out but eventually lost to him. "Manny is a great fighter, one of the best in the world. I tried throwing something over the top. I knew I had to do more in this fight than the last fight," he told Top Rank during the announcement.

The fight between him and Pacquiao marks his first loss in his professional boxing career. He has now a record of 31-1, still with 12 KO's.

"You deserve it," he told Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao said that Bradley cannot be underestimated because he was tough. "He's better a lot, compared to the first one. He's very tough. He gave me a good fight. It's not that easy," he said that he was even aiming for a knock-out.

"Yes I tried to finish him several times. Many times I hit him hard, but he was still there," he added.

He related that he did not want to get careless. "I picked up more steam in the second half. I made the adjustments Freddie gave me in the corner."

Pacquiao had 32 stitches as a result of the fight, but it is indeed worth every punch. He regained his belt and would take home $20 million aside from the earnings made by the Pay-Per-View subscriptions.

Asked if he will retire soon after the fight, he said that it will take him several more years. "Maybe I could still fight for several years."

Pacquiao was able to gain victory after his controversial loss with Bradley his knock-out with Juan Manuel Marquez. In November 2013, he knocked out Brandon Rios in the sixth round.

Aside from boxing, Pacquiao also ventured into politics as a congressman in the Philippines' House of Representatives.
